Project Quality Control Agent

Cleaning Connected is seeking a professional and detail-oriented independent contractor to serve as a Quality Control (QC) Agent for assigned cleaning projects. This role is responsible for ensuring that all cleaning services performed by our trade partners meet Cleaning Connected standards and client expectations.

Scope of Work

Below is a detailed and complete outline of what we need completed. 

• Take site photos prior to the commencement of any cleaning activities to document existing project conditions.
• Conduct a site walk with the General Contractor’s Superintendent before cleaning begins to become familiar with the project and scope requirements.
• Meet with all assigned Cleaning Partners on-site, as needed, based on their respective scopes of work.
• Meet with Cleaning Partners at the start of each scheduled workday to review expectations, scope, and project updates.
• Maintain daily communication with all Cleaning Partners via text message, ensuring all required forms and reports are completed and submitted.
• Take photos and videos of all completed work areas each day and submit documentation to the Cleaning Connected office.
• Conduct a final site walk with the Superintendent upon completion of all cleaning activities, or as otherwise requested by the General Contractor.
• Complete and submit the Project Recap Form upon project completion.

Business Relation & Work Structure

This Agreement establishes an independent contractor relationship between Cleaning Connected and you, the Trade Partner. Trade Partner is a 1099 independent contractor and is not an employee of Cleaning Connected. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as creating an employment relationship, partnership, or joint venture. Trade Partner shall be solely responsible for all taxes, insurance, equipment, start & finish time, and compliance with applicable laws related to its business operations.

Requirements

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be professional when interacting with clients, site superintendents, and cleaning crews
• Must have a smartphone capable of taking photos and submitting digital reports
• Must be detail-oriented and able to accurately assess cleanliness and project completion
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in the field
• Prior experience in janitorial services, construction cleaning, facility maintenance, or inspections is preferred

• Smartphone required for photos, communication, and reporting
• Ability to complete digital daily reports provided by Cleaning Connected

Indemnification & Hold Harmless:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Contractor [or Trade Partner] shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cleaning Connected, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and the General Contractor (and their respective affiliates) from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with the performance of the Services, to the extent caused by the negligent acts or omissions of Contractor [or Trade Partner], its employees, agents, or subcontractors. This obligation shall survive termination of this Agreement.

Payment Terms & Information

Payments shall be made on a net-30 basis from the date of receipt of a properly completed Partner Invoice form provided by Cleaning Connected. No payment will be issued without a completed W-9 form and all required project reports. Cleaning Connected may, at its sole discretion, offer early payment in exchange for a discount. All payments are subject to verification and approval of the Services performed.

Project Grade & Bonus

Cleaning Connected offers a performance bonus to Trade Partners based on the overall grade received from the job site team. The grade is weighted across Communication, reporting compliance, and cleaning quality. Depending on the final grade, Trade Partners may receive a bonus of 0% to 3% of the agreed-upon base project rate. This bonus is paid in addition to the base amount and is determined at Cleaning Connected’s sole discretion.

Project Communication

Trade Partners are authorized to discuss cleaning scope and pricing exclusively with Cleaning Connected. Trade Partners shall not, under any circumstances, discuss scope, pricing, additional cleaning, scheduling, or any project-related matters directly with the General Contractor, job site personnel, or any other third party at the project site. Any questions or issues regarding scope, additional work, pricing, or scheduling must be directed solely to the assigned Cleaning Connected contact. Compliance with this protocol is mandatory, and any violation may result in immediate termination of the Agreement and/or withholding of payment.

PPE Requirements

Any and all personal on any Cleaning Connected project site must at all times have the following PPE:

• Hard Hat
• Safety Vest
• Work Jeans
• Work Shoes

Absolutely no open shoes, shorts, tank tops, and leggings/tights.
